MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR OF THE BOARD
Greetings FSP and welcome to our summer edition of the FSP Newsletter. FSP joined the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies and other Black professional organizations in signing its name to letters to the Biden Administration to successfully advance the historic nominations and confirmations of Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson and Federal Reserve Board Governor Lisa Cook. The presence of diverse voices on the Supreme Court and the Federal Reserve Board brings the unique perspective of Black Americans into the conversation. Economic equality and the creation of generational wealth can now be woven into important policy decisions at the highest levels of the federal government. FSP will continue in its mission to advance diversity in the financial services industry and ensure that Black voices are in the room and, most importantly, are heard.
