MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR OF THE BOARD
FSP, Fall is here … already! We just hosted our Annual Fall Reception in conjunction with the Congressional Black Caucus Annual Legislative Conference. Attendance was at an all-time high, and the new location, Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelly made for a culturally rich occasion with delicious soul food and a warm and homey ambiance. We were greeted at the door with “Welcome home!” and it certainly felt like home. Congressman Jonathan Jackson stopped by and offered remarks, including a call for us to pay attention to upcoming Supreme Court decisions on redistricting. The event was sponsored by Edward Jones and General Motors. Fred O’Neal, a tenured advisor from Edward Jones, greeted the crowd and expressed his company’s support for FSP.
