Greetings FSP! This is our 2nd official newsletter, designed to keep you informed and connected. A lot has happened since our last newsletter. In September, we hosted a meet and greet for the Honorable Jay Clayton, Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and received an update on diversity initiatives at the agency from SEC OMWI Director Pam Gibbs and Senior Counsel Robert Marchman. It is encouraging to see the SEC’s programs and work designed to increase diversity and inclusion at the agency and in the equities markets.
FSP Member Newsletter 24th Edition
FSP members and friends, if you have been following our work, you know it has been a busy and productive quarter. I am pleased to share a few highlights. On May 20, FSP, in partnership with Holland & Knight, hosted “The Future of Digital Assets: Policies, Risks, Opportunities.” The program featured a keynote address by video from Congressman Jonathan Jackson and a fireside chat with Congressman Shomari Figures, facilitated by FSP’s Executive Director, Yasmin Nelson. Expertly moderated by FSP member Yana Miles, the panel brought together leading voices in the digital assets space, including Tiffany Smith, Tamara Zeidan, Ayana Dow, and Frantz Jacques.
