Todd L. Cranford has more than 20 years of financial services experience in both private and public-sector roles. He currently serves as Board Counsel to Board Member Anthony C. Thompson of the Public Company Accountng Oversight Board, which oversees the audits of public companies, as well as the audits of brokers and dealers. Prior to his current position. Mr. Cranford serverd as the Head of Government Affairs & External Relations for the Financial Accounting Foundation and he has held senior roles with the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., Patton Boggs LLP (now Squire Patton Boggs), the House Financial Services Committee and the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement. He also served as a law clerk to U.S. District Court Judge Anna Diggs Taylor. Mr. Cranford is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Columbia Law School.
