Deep hurt and outrage grip the Black community in the aftermath of the horrific murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and so many others. Financial Services Professionals (FSP) denounces police brutality and all forms of injustice and stands with the Black community and our allies in the fight for justice and equality for all humankind. The systemic racism, discrimination, violence, and injustice, as well as the health and income inequalities that flow from the shameful legacy of slavery and Jim Crow Laws are now on full display. As an organization, we are striving to rectify the impacts of racial inequities in the financial services industry by creating a platform for financial inclusion, diverse hiring, contracting, and board membership. We are committed to making a difference and impacting change. Recent events have only strengthened our resolve to stand firm in our mission to advance the excellence of diverse professionals in the financial services industry.
